Bio-plus205 is a modified PLA, specifically designed for extrusion and
thermoforming applications, but can also be processed in injection
molding for simple parts. It processes easily on conventional
extrusion and thermoforming equipment. It contains no inorganic
filler, with heat deflection temperatures more than 90oC. Sheets with Bio-plus 205 still remain good clarity. Its
flexibility was improved over Bio-plus 202. This is a
bio-degradable plastics, meeting the EU bio-degradation standard of
EN 13432.
Drying condition: 85oC for 3 hours under vacuum, or 90 oC for 1 hour on airflow.
Injection molding condition: barrel temperature at 190-205℃mold temperature at 105℃holding time
cooling time for 40-80s
Bio-plus 205 is widely used in many areas and continuing to expand. The designed applications include food containers, tool boxes, dining utensils, hygiene utensils, stationery, toys, sports goods, and some electronic products like mobile phone cases, etc.
